What the AI can see

How context is assembled, and why it is filtered before the model gets it.

  3. Why the filter matters

A model is only as useful as what it is shown. DMRealm assembles that material from your realm rather than asking you to paste it, and does so under the same permission rules as the rest of the app.

What goes in#

  • The realm and world you are working in.
  • The record you are editing.
  • Anything you referenced with @, and records one step away from it.
  • Relevant calendar context, where time matters.

What stays out#

  • Other realms — always.
  • Anything the person asking is not permitted to see.
  • Unrelated secrets you did not reference.

Why the filter matters#

On a shared realm, a player using an AI feature must not receive your secrets back inside a generated paragraph. Filtering the material before it reaches the model is what prevents that, and it happens on the server rather than in the browser.
