SHARING YOUR REALM

Publishing to the web

Turning part of a realm into a public site your players and the world can read.

A realm can have a public face: a readable wiki on the open web, at its own address, for players between sessions or for anyone following your setting.

How publishing works

Publishing is deliberate and layered. A page has to be marked public, and published, and the realm itself has to have public access turned on. Any one of those left off keeps the page private.

  • Public pages are served to readers with no account and no sign-in.
  • Unlisted pages are reachable by link but kept out of search engines.
  • The public view is assembled from player-safe material only — DM-only sections never reach it.
  • Public readers get their own search across the published pages.
