Place a marker and link it to a record
Pin a location on the atlas and connect it to an NPC, faction, or quest.

A marker is more useful when it points at a record than when it is only a label, because then the map becomes a way to navigate the realm.
- Open the world's map in the Atlas.
- Choose the marker tool and click the spot.
- Name it, then link it to the record it represents — a location, an NPC who lives there, or a quest that happens there.
- Set the marker's visibility. Anything players should not know yet stays DM-only.
