Bringing someone into a realm takes an invitation and a role. Both can be changed afterwards.
- Open Realm settings and go to Members.
- Choose Invite, and enter an email address or generate a link.
- Pick the role they should have. Reader is the safe default for a player; editor for a co-writer.
- Send. The invitation appears as pending until they accept.
Pick the role deliberately#
A role decides what someone can do, not what they can see. Giving a player the reader role does not hide your secrets — visibility does that, separately and on each record.
