Build an encounter from your party
Assemble creatures, NPCs, and a battle map against the actual group.
Last reviewed
An encounter is assembled rather than written: you pull in creatures and NPCs you already have, and the builder weighs them against the party actually playing.
- Open Encounters and create one.
- Add combatants from your creatures. Use groups for repeated foes rather than adding eight copies.
- Add any NPC who matters to the scene, whether or not they fight.
- Confirm the party — the builder judges difficulty against the adventurers currently playing.
- Attach a battle map from your Atlas.
- Write the read-aloud text, tactics, and what the party gets for winning.
